GROUND GRIP MARKERS - The Concept

There are a wide variety of survey applications that fall between high order work which demands fully anchored markers and basic setting out where a simple wooden or plastic peg can be used.

Ground Grip gives security from disturbance without being fully anchored, is very quick and easy to install - no special tools required - and when installed offers an excellent three-dimensional station because of its domed and centered metal top.

THE HEADS are made from a very strong plastic which has been UV stabilised for long life in the elements.

Available in one standard size of 95 x 95 x 50mm, the heads can either sit on top of the ground, or be fully or partly countersunk.

THE SHAFT is made of steel covered in sections of plastic sleeving. Each section is mounted at 90 degrees to the next one, giving it maximum anchorage

THE TOP is made of steel, and is domed with a centre point. This offers a three-dimensional mark without the need for an additional insert.

THE TIP is pointed and hardened so that it can penetrate almost any soil.
